Michael joined the Icinga project in May 2009 and takes care about Icinga 2 together with Gunnar. You’ll also find him active over in the community channels or on Icinga events sharing the #monitoringlove. Michael also loves enhancing the Vagrant boxes for demos and presentations. Full-time Senior Developer at NETWAYS and part-time administrator of monitoring-portal.org.

Gunnar specializes on Icinga 2.x and 1.x IDOUtils development. He is a contributor to various graphing tools and works in C/C++, PHP with a love of databases. Gunnar is working as Senior Developer at NETWAYS. On the team since June 2011.

Tobias is a long-term Icinga user managing a distributed setup with Icinga 2 clusters. He’s responsible for Data Center Operations at ProfitBricks. Whilst learning C++ he takes care of QA, documentation and community support. On the team since January 2015.

Ricardo developed the Icinga Classic UI JSON export & leads its development. He looks after monitoring and server administration of >500 servers at one of Deutsche Telekom’s many departments. Ricardo has over 10 years of monitoring experience. On the team since August 2010.

Thomas is a DBA with over 20 years experience and specialises in IDOUtils and Oracle. He works on various monitoring projects professionally, as a senior consultant at Dacoma GmbH. On the team since March 2011.

IT consultant and Icinga user/developer in Northern California who does C, Perl, Python and shell programming. He focuses on the Classic UI and was behind the new Tactical Header introduced in 1.4. Currently the Group Contact (GC) for #icinga on the IRC Freenode network and on the team since May 2011.

A native of the Italian Alps, Thomas brings with him nearly two decades of development experience in various languages and contributes mostly to Icinga Web 2. In his professional life he is an Icinga and Puppet consultant and trainer. Officially on the team since 2014 (about when he ran out of places to hide).

Johannes started working on Icinga Web 1.x and is now responsible for Icinga Web 2 development. One of his babies is the Icinga Web 2 Setup Wizard paving the way for all the exciting modules and views he’s also been building. On the team since June 2013.

Jordan is a Web Technologist that is part of the Online Experience Management’s WCMS group at Adobe. He started as a contractor in 2011 and converted to full time a few months later. His DevOps team primary focus is to support and maintain the software and infrastructure that powers much of Adobe.com and several other related sites including the internal intranet site. On the team since March 2016.

Bernd is a Graylog developer and is located in Hamburg working for Graylog Inc.. During his journey of log processing and connecting monitoring cores like Icinga 2, he recently joined the Icinga team helping in maintaining the Vagrant boxes, specifically the icinga2x-graylog2 demo box. Onboard since October 2014.

Nick is located in Portland, OR and working as a sysadmin. Icinga is his first open source project and so he was brave and chose a hard one: Nick is the creator and maintainer of the official puppet-icinga2 Puppet module.  Onboard since August 2014.

A Developer in charge of infrastructure at Gentoo, Matthew uses Icinga to monitor a geography and architecturally diverse infrastructure. Matthew contributes to Icinga Core helping out where he knows best – packaging Icinga for Gentoo. On the team since August 2010.

Lars runs Icinga on Ubuntu coming from Solaris in the past. His main goal is to keep Icinga portable and usable on non-Linux platforms. So he maintains the Icinga 1, 2 and icli Ports on FreeBSD. In this way he supports the team by maintaining the official Icinga ports on FreeBSD. On the team since October 2010.

Dirk is working as Senior Consultant at NETWAYS. His main tasks are monitoring with and around Icinga as well as configuration management with Puppet. He’s an RHCE and helps mastering the Icinga RPMs especially focusing on SELinux. On the team since February 2015.

Having a first contact with Nagios as a systems engineer, Thomas became a senior consultant at NETWAYS, focusing on monitoring with Icinga and logmanagment with the elastic stack. He uses feedback he gets during his daytime job to improve documentation, translations and other small things in the Icinga codebase. On the team since March 2016.

Shawn co-maintains the official RPMs for Icinga. Also on the Fedora QA team, Shawn has been a Fedora packager since 2006. On the side, he contributed the Plasma weather applet/engine API to KDE 4.x/5.x. Onboard since January 2014.

Rune developed the multiple commands feature in Icinga Classic UI. He is responsible for Icinga quality, release testing and bug reporting. Rune is a member of the Q&A and Core teams. On the team since July 2010.

Starting in 2001 with Netsaint (now Nagios) Assaf has since built NMS structures for data centres on 3 continents, combining Nagios with tools such as MRTG, Snort, Asterisk and Cacti. In Icinga, Assaf contributes to VM creation and quality assurance. On the team since December 2011.

A Linux system admin who first started using Linux in 1995, David’s day job has him involved in all stages of system integration (mixed envs., visualization, monitoring, …) and support. He also contributes to Icinga QA. On the team since Dec 2011.
